Voiceover

Voiceover is when narration is added to a programme soundtrack or to a commercial. It is similar to Automated Dialogue Replacement (ADR) also known as dubbing in that a person's voice is recorded in a controlled environment (a studio vocal booth) but it differs from ADR because no attempts are made to match onscreen lip movement. The main constraint applicable to voiceovers is that of time, as they can run no longer than the sequence at hand. Voiceover refers to the placement of vocal audio over visual content. T&I Services offers voiceover services for all media in all languages, using some of the most professional voiceover artists available. Scripts are handled with the same rigour and sensitivity as other translations. Voiceovers are particularly useful as part of a marketing strategy where companies’ marketing and product videos, CDs, DVDs or Audiotapes are produced using an unseen native speaker narrating the content in the native language of a particular customer audience. Voiceovers give you the power to interact with your audience through the use of sound.
